Grand opening includes $75 Pizzeria meal voucher to the first 75 guests and free game play
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 8, 2023) – Peter Piper Pizza, the “food, family and fun” brand, is opening the second Kansas City-area location of its newest concept, Peter Piper Pizzeria, in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center at 8809 State Line Road on June 22.
Originating in Kansas City’s neighboring community Olathe, the fast casual restaurant will serve made-from-scratch, hand-tossed pizzas and pan pizzas, plus wings, salads and desserts, as well as wine and craft beer. Instagrammable spots include the hand-painted wall mural by local artist Chase Hunter and trendy foodie favorites include Pepperoni Rolls and the Butcher’s Block Pizza.
The 4,650 square-foot space is a larger format with 10 arcade games, a dozen TVs streaming live sports, and the innovative Roto-Flex® oven for the perfect stone-baked pizzas. The “eatertainment” fast casual chain offers fun for the entire family with classic games like Pac-Man that parents and kids may play together.
A grand opening event will be held on Thursday, June 22, at 10:30 a.m., and will include a ribbon-cutting with local dignitaries, food samplings, free game play in the game room and a $75 meal credit to the first 75 guests.
“After the first Peter Piper Pizzeria opening in Olathe, we are continuing to expand the concept in the area and give locals across Kansas City another convenient location to come together with family and friends over great pizza, games and fun,” said David McKillips, CEO of CEC Entertainment. “It’s all right here at Peter Piper Pizzeria and the bigger location features double the number of arcade games and more big screens to catch the Royals, Monarchs or Chiefs.”
The menu focuses on specialty pizzas like The Werx and the Chicago Classic, all prepared with dough made from scratch, and includes wings tossed in a variety of flavors. Other craveable menu items are the Italian Sausage Lasagna and a Cinnamon Crunch dessert.
